Speaking at OKC JUG Tuesday

Jugbutton

Tomorrow (Tuesday, July 8) I will be presenting along with Matt Smith at the Oklahoma City Java Users Group meeting. We’ll be talking about why testing web applications is difficult and presenting several tools and techniques for testing various aspects of these applications. The broader context for this talk will be in developing a comprehensive testing strategy where the behaviors exhibited by your web application are tested with the technique that provides just enough completeness for the test to be effective while minimizing the cost of developing and maintaining it. If you’ve never seen a web application with rich client-side behavior driven out in a test first manner then this meeting is for you.

  1. Thanks to you and Matt for coming up to Okc and doing your presentation. I really enjoyed the evening meeting. I really hope I look at your source code - especially the wicket part - instead of ignoring it like I do most of the time.
